Today is the day. Meetpapier BV will continue under the name Halbach Medical.

As a supplier of print media for imaging diagnostics, it has always have been clear what the name ‘Meetpapier’ stood for. Meetpapier was founded 50 years ago and 30 years ago we became part of another historic and distinctive company within the medical paper industry.

From 1992, our German parent company Diagramm Halbach, a family-owned business since 1832, has been decisive for the further development of Meetpapier. It was not only the chart paper for medical diagnostics that made us a well-known company, although that made up a large part of the turnover. Also consumables and accessories for healthcare applications, products for patient monitoring, as well as disposable products for optimizing hygiene standards within healthcare found their way to our customers.

The role of medical recording paper and print media for imaging diagnostics has become - and is becoming - smaller and smaller. After all, we live today in a world in which digitization plays an increasingly prominent role.

Thanks to many years of specialization in medical-technology applications in the field of diagnostics and by offering solutions in the field of hospital hygiene and patient safety, we are now a full partner of hospitals and institutions and many trading partners. Not only in the Netherlands, but as today, we are active in 70 countries around the world.

Because we now have so much more to offer than paper, and the name Meetpapier no longer adequately covers its meaning, we’ve decided to change the name after 50 years. Halbach Medical, referring to our 190-year-old German parent company, is in our view exactly what it is all about. Reliability in harmony with added value and guaranteed continuity within medical diagnostics is what we stand for.

We will change our company name in November. The name change is accompanied by a new logo, new appearance and a new website in which we would be happy to inform you in more detail at a later stage. Further on nothing will change for you as our customer. You will be able to stay in contact with the same people and our products and service remain at the same high quality that you have come to expect from us for already 50 years.

We are looking forward to a continuation of our good relationship and, where possible, an intensification of the cooperation.
