Swann Morton Sterile disposable surgical scalpels with a sturdy polystyrene handle. The handle features an indicative measuring scale and offers an alternative to the traditional blade with separate handle. No. 9 (0517) has a  distinctive, broad, "hatchet" shaped blade and is utilised within Podiatry. 

Each scalpel is individually packed in a transparent tray with a colour-changing seal, which clearly indicates if the packaging has been previously opened.
