The Ambu Oval Plus silicone resuscitator is a high-quality, reusable manual resuscitator designed for ventilation of adults. With Open cuff silicone mask.
They feature the single-shutter valve system, for reliable functionality, and also have a textured surface to improve user grip and handling during use.
For patient safety, each size of the Oval Plus is equipped with a pressure-limiting valve that prevents excessive pressure being delivered to the patient. In cases where higher pressures are required, an override cap may be engaged to prevent activation of the valve.
The Oval Plus resuscitators are reusable products, suitable for sterilisation at 134°C / 273.2F, and can be reprocessed up to 30 times. However, the oxygen reservoir bag can only withstand 15 sterilisation cycles. The oxygen reservoir tube is suitable only for manual cleaning and chemical disinfection.
